Sandra and I had a great Christmas with our family's on the Central Coast, the Grand kids have changed a great deal in the 6 months that we were away. Daniel has shot up in size, Robert is much better now after his heart attack, we hope that he looks after himself, Mitchel is also taller, Amie is just beautiful as she always will be, Nicole seems to have more freckles her hair is so curly she looks great. Alyssa is a living doll - this year will be her last at high school, Benjamin is still growing taller I think that he will be a 6 footer, Kayla is also taller, her slim body and with her good looks I think that she could easily be a model. Corey has put on weight and lost his 6 pack and according to Madison he has gained an 8 pack, Madison is a little bit taller and oh so cute.

New Years eve was spent at the Ippas with a B.B.Q. all our family was there except Robert who was at Goomburra Q.L.D with Karen and Bernie.
Just before 9pm we all drove up to Doylson to see the fireworks at the Doylo R.S.L., that topped off the night for us, just to see the smiles on the Grand kids faces as the crackers went off. It was a great night for us all.
At the Walu caravan park we have made some good friend's, amongst them there is a couple named Mel and Guy. Guy is a very good fisherman and has kept us supplied with fish and prawns as he does not eat fish, and to my good luck he gave me a Grouper, I cut 2 huge fillets of the fish - ate 1 that night and froze the other.

15/01/07. Our 41st Anniversary. Sandra and I went out for a meal at the Halakelani Bowling Club.
24/01/07. The day started off great, Guy caught a big Salmon and he gave it to me, I cut it up to make fish cakes.

Disaster struck as I left the cleaning gear in the sink with the water running and the plug in, Sandra came back and started to go troppo, there was water running down the steps of the van, I went inside and turned off the tap water was all over the floor and it took a fair while to mop up the mess, poor old San was not impressed.
We have enjoyed our stay at the Walu Caravan Park (11 weeks.) The Managers Neil and Lorraine made us so welcome and nothing was a bother for them, they were only too pleased to help.
19/02/07. Moved up to home base (Swansea) and settled in to a good site with waterfront views and close to old friends Stan & Joan, Reg & Roz, Allan & Cheryl, Les & Maureen, Barry & Helen, its good to be back.
02/03/07. Marg from Clevland (Q.L.D.) rung today to say that her Husband Noel had passed away after a long battle with lung cancer, we met them at Bowen last year and we were looking forward to seeing them both when we next drove through Brisbane.
15/03/7. Birthday's today, Alyssa (17) and mine (64), the Ippa's, the Bower's and the Farmer's all met at the Doylson R.S.L. Club for dinner, as expected it was another Great night for me to watch and admire the way our Grand kids are growing up, they all have a great time when together and get on so well with each other.
17/03/07. Last night Sandra woke me from a sound sleep (snoring) at about 10.30 pm to tell me she could hear noises near our caravan, I looked out the front window, there were 2 kids about 11 or 12 years of age who had stolen an esky from the tent at the back of our van one of them through an object and it narrowly missed our car I yelled out to them and they ran off, out side I discovered that the object was an egg, we walked around to see if we could find them but the were gone. Next morning we discovered that they had come back later on and had stolen from the tent behind us a bag with a couple of stubbies of beer inside it. We made sure that each night we took our gear inside.
