FAILFORD to SCOTTS HEAD

Moved onto Lorrys again - they are so busy with the Seafood business, glad that we can help out.
Lorry is not well we will hang about for a few more days and then move on, we drove to Nelson Bay to pick up Fish & Prawns for Ken as he is flat out. Had a day out to Maitland for a look around and Later on, met our son Shane at Woodville for lunch - we had Prawn's Courtesy of Millsy's Seafoods (Good one Ken)we ate them in the grounds of an old Church at Woodville.(Stop 30).Started packing the van to again head north, Lorry knows that she can ring anytime if she needs us.
We are now at Failford and staying with Cousin Posso & his wife Cathy's in there new home, and are taking trips to Forster & Tuncurry, Hastings Point and Nabiac.
It is now November and we are at Nambucca in a Caravan Park with the River only four meters from the back of the van. Salt water swimming in the river is top's and there are fish everywhere - but the fishing is not so good.
Ken and Judy have come down from Newee Creek for a visit, the next day we went over to their place for lunch with them. We are driving out to Bowraville, Macksville and Urunga to look around, the old Town's are very interesting to spend a couple of hours in, as there is plenty to see.
We visited Judys brother Michael, who has a Shop at Bellingen where he sells all sorts of Touristy things - Sandra bought some Soap & Perfumed Candles. We have said goodbye to Ken and Judy as they are going back home' we have moved on to Pacific Sands van park, just up the road as it is to windy now back on the river.
Pacific Sands has excellent Managers and they are undertaking a lot of renovation to upgrade the park, such as removing a lot of old and dangerous tree's, and are building some new play area's for kid's to enjoy. When we arrived the tree cutting had begun and we could not get the site that we had booked, but instead they gave us an ensuite site for no extra charge. Sandra was given a bunch of Yellow Roses for being patient with the work that was going on, and they also gave us 2 free night's - so we are Rapt - they said that if we return next year they will look after us.
(23/11/05) Now at Scotts Head Caravan Park. This is one of the Best Beach Parks that we have stayed at, so close to the beach - good Swimming and Surf Fishing - we love this place and have stayed for a week. Tomorrow we vacate and move to Crescent Head.
